Bachelor of Science in Business Administration

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree is designed for students who want to learn various aspects of running a business. This degree will help students develop skills that can impact a company's success. The degree will provide students with a competitive advantage within the corporate structure. Government, military, and state agencies also recognize the need for educated personnel.
 

Students can complete the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree program or tailor their degree to include one or more concentrations.



  • 120 Semester Hours
  • A maximum of 90 semester hours may be accepted toward fulfilling the degree requirement.
  • Students must complete a minimum of 30 semester hours with Southwest University.
  • Requirements Include:
  • 30 semester hours - General Education Courses
  • 30 semester hours - Core Discipline Courses
  • 60 semester hours - Elective Courses
 
 

Upon completion of this program, students should be able to:

  • Develop a strong foundation on which to build a business career path.
  • Identify issues, trends and challenges facing human resource personnel.
  • Analyze the managerial processes of planning and organizing.
  • Research the entrepreneurial options of owning and/or operating a business venture.
  • Examine and assess concepts of strategic management.
